CAD (computer-aided design) is the use of computer-based software to aid in design processes. CAD software is frequently used by different types of engineers and designers to create two-dimensional (2D) drawings or three-dimensional (3D) models.
This technique is used in almost every serial production process. It draws 2D patterns for textile or cut foam parts. 3D CAD is used to shape foam models for injected foam solutions or to connect 2D textile products to 3D hardware products.
