The Mobile Viewpoint broadcasting solution is being utilized by various global broadcasters and public agencies to meet their critical live streaming requirements. This technology is particularly valuable for outside broadcasts and remote production needs, encompassing events such as live sports, news coverage, festivals, and religious services.

Co-Creation
To complement this broadcasting system, Bolster Softgoods designed and manufacture a specialized backpack tailored for cameramen and women who are using the Mobile Viewpoint broadcasting unit. This backpack serves as a mobile solution for directly broadcasting camera images and facilitating communication with the studio.

Design
The backpack includes an aluminum back plate that connects with Velcro to the inside of the bag. The broadcasting unit is only in contact with the aluminum back plate and hangs freely within the bag to prevent overheating. The sides of the bag are constructed using 3D mesh fabric, which promotes air circulation around the transmitter. Plastic ribs are incorporated into the bag’s design to reinforce the 3D mesh fabric.

The bag features a separate compartment designed specifically for batteries, with a wire feed to the main compartment. The main compartment housing the broadcasting unit is accessible in three ways: Large zip opening for easy removal of the system, small opening at the front with a sunshade to enable visibility of the LCD screen in bright sunlight and a separate zip pocket at the top. The bag incorporates multiple openings and features for efficient cable management: Opening on both sides with a Velcro closure, Velcro flaps on the back straps and zipper opening in the back panel. Extra padded back straps are provided to ensure comfort while carrying the heavy transmitter. The backpack offers a wide range of chest, back, and waist strap adjustability to accommodate different clothing layers and ergonomic sizes.

Branding and Protection
An embroidered Mobile Viewpoint logo is placed on the top of the bag. There’s an insert sleeve at the front pocket for branding by broadcasters. A rain cover with the Mobile Viewpoint logo serves to keep the equipment dry in adverse weather conditions. The bottom of the bag is equipped with studs to safeguard the batteries from impact when the bag is placed on the ground. The bag not only facilitates on-location broadcasting but also serves as a protective case for safely sending the transmission box to the manufacturer for updates and repairs.

Standard and Large Broadcasting Backpack
Two versions of the backpack are available: one for small broadcasting units and another for the large broadcasting units. The larger version includes additional features, such as extra-wide shoulder straps and a hip strap, to comfortably manage the weight of the larger transmitter.  Overall, this specialized backpack from Bolster Softgoods provides a comprehensive solution for cameramen and women using Mobile Viewpoint broadcasting units, ensuring ease of use, equipment protection, and efficient cable management during critical live streaming operations.
